Dear Parents and Guardians,
The BCS transportation department is committed to the safety and well-being of all students. To increase our
safety and efficiency, BCS will start a new process for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Here is the link to the transportation form Please take a few minutes to complete it. By implementing a set schedule, it
will help ensure that everyone involved (parents, students, teachers, secretaries and drivers) will always have
accurate student transportation information.

Because we will be processing a large number of forms, we ask that you return the form to the transportation
department no later than August 8th. This will give us the time needed to enter the accurate information.
Bussing assignments, including bus number and pick up/drop off time, will be mailed out with the Elementary
School teacher appointment letters and the Middle/High School schedules in August.
Once the schedule is set, changes may only be made by submitting a new form. A new form will need to be
submitted at least one week prior to the change (i.e. new address, change in babysitter, etc.). We will no longer
be able to accept changes via telephone or written note. The only notes that will continue to be accepted will be
for days that your child will be picked up.
We do realize that unexpected emergency situations can happen. Please contact the office at your child’s school
if an emergency situation arises. The secretary and the principal will work with you to make arrangements for
the safest solution for an alternative for that day.
Some key points:
- If you have more than one child, a separate application will need to be filled out for each child.
- If you have a change during the school year, a new transportation form will need to be filled out at
least one week prior to the change. - Forms need to be returned by August 8th to ensure the information is processed in time for letters to
go out mid-August.
Bloomfield Central School is committed to a safe and successful start to the school year. We thank you in
advance for your support with this new process.
Please do not hesitate to contact Tammy Brace or Scott Donnelly if you have any questions or concerns.
