Our music program had a blast at Six Flags New England before winning six trophies at the Music in the Parks Festival held at Holyoke High School North in Massachusetts over the weekend!
More than 70 students in grades 8-12 performed and were evaluated by judges who provided both written feedback and numerical scores. When all was said and done, we earned six trophies:
- Best Overall Band
- Best Overall Chorus
- 1st place, Jazz Band
- 1st place, HS Concert Band
- 1st place, Jazz Choir
- 1st place, HS Mixed Chorus
Congratulations are also in order for junior Katie Evans, who was crowned most Outstanding Vocalist of the entire festival!
