Another successful season by our girls basketball team came to an end yesterday in the NYS Class C Far West Regionals, as Bloomfield was narrowly defeated by Keshequa, 66-65.
Calla McCombs led all scorers with 30 points. Lily Baughman contributed 12 points, Annie Dodge added 10 points, Ashlyn Wright scored 8 points, Sydney Falsone had 3 points, and Addison Falsone chipped in with 2 points.
It was a season to remember for the Bombers, as they repeated as Class C1 champions and brought home their 14th title. Historically, Bloomfield trails only Pittsford Mendon (17) and Elba (16) in Section V girls basketball titles.
