The Bloomfield M/HS History Club has started the year off with a project to observe and celebrate International Day of Peace (9/21)! Students and staff have contributed to a collaborative art project called Pinwheels for Peace, originally started by teachers in Florida to give students a medium to express their feelings about peace and conflict. Students colored and decorated paper templates that our history club members turned to pinwheels. For this weekend, the pinwheels line the bus loop, a reminder of the importance of peace and that it takes every one of us to create a peaceful world.
