The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for the 2025–2026 school year is available to all residents of the Bloomfield School District. It is designed to provide an enriching and developmentally appropriate experience for four-year-old children, preparing them for kindergarten the following year. Please note that participation in UPK is not required for kindergarten eligibility.
Families are eligible if they reside in the Bloomfield School District and have a child who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2025. Children who turn five on or before December 1, 2025, are not eligible for UPK.
For the 2025–2026 school year, we are offering one full-day and half-day UPK option. The full-day program has a maximum capacity of 16 students.
