Message from the Principal

Happy June Bloomfield Families,

Yesterday, we enjoyed an exciting Bike to School Day with beautiful weather and great energy! Over 100 students rode their bikes down the trail from the tennis courts to our elementary playground. A big thank you to Coach Geiger, Deputy Williamson, Mr. Parzych, and all the staff and parents who helped make this event such a success for our students!

Our end of year field trips continued this week as well. Fourth graders explored the Erie Canal aboard the Sam Patch boat tours, while our fifth graders visited the Rochester Museum and Science Center for a day of hands-on learning and discovery. Fifth graders also spent some time at the middle school this week as they continue to prepare for their transition to 6th grade. During the visit, they enjoyed engaging activities with the 6th grade teachers, helping them feel more at ease about the upcoming change.

Thursday evening, our talented second graders lit up the stage with their smiles and songs during their musical production, The Unity Tree. Thank you to Mrs. Erskine and the second grade team, Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Caughlin, Miss Compton, Mrs. Kull, and Mrs. Kimball for their guidance and support in making this special performance possible.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  • Golf tees (I have plenty if this is an issue)

  • Sunblock

Beginner Camp: July 7th - July 10th, 2025
Designed for introductory golfers. Very new to the game. We will be going over the basics of the golf swing, chipping, putting, and rules to golf, etiquette. During this camp the majority of it takes place on the practice green and on the driving range to maximize opportunities for practice and improvement. Lots of fun competitions and basic games to mix up the day.

Advanced Camp: July 28th - July 31st, 2025
Designed for golfers who are comfortable with the swing. Time on the practice green and driving range, however the goal of the camp is to get the kids out on the course to play under supervised instruction. Decision making, demeanor, etiquette and club selection will all be discussed during the time the students are on the course. If you are signing up for advanced camp, experience on a local course is a prerequisite, golfers in advanced camp should be scoring Bogies and double bogies regularly.
