Last week, Bloomfield's 6th graders' field trip to
Duvall Farms was not only fun and educational, but a chance to demonstrate our students' good character in the community. On Facebook, Duvall Farms shared the following message, highlighting how special the students, District, and Bloomfield community truly is:
"Just when we think this season can’t get any better, the Bloomfield Central School District 6th Grade Class joins us at Duvall Farms for our final field trip.
We cannot say enough good things about this class - we've had the pleasure of knowing many of them for years, and they are the epitome of kindness, compassion, and excellence. We had an absolute blast going through the corn maze, taking a hay ride, riding a pony, playing at our game zone, and playing with our petting zoo animals & baby goats.
Bloomfield truly embodies all the great things about living in a small town. Seeing these kids enjoying the farm is a true inspiration. We are beyond grateful for the unwavering support of our community, without which we wouldn't be here.
Thank you to the incredible teachers and staff of BCS, who are doing a phenomenal job.
Thank you to all the parents, who are raising them into such exceptional young adults.
This was the perfect end to our field trip season, and it's moments and kids like these that make it all worthwhile."
Thank you to Kim and everyone at
Duvall Farms for your kind words!
