Bloomfield High School students had a chance to attend the Changemaker Hub event this week, a partnership between Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and World Savvy, a national non-profit organization that works with schools to integrate "global competence" into education. 

This day-long event took students and staff off campus to engage in activities and learning experiences intended to tap into their creativity to think about the future of education at Bloomfield in an ever-evolving world. Students, educators, school leaders, and community members worked through activities focused on critical and creative thinking as they imagined what Bloomfield Central School District would look like in the future. The goal of the event was to find ways to meet the needs of all, students and staff alike.

Our Students worked on solutions to bring back to Bloomfield to start conversations in their communities that will benefit everyone. Our staff and school leaders had a chance to look closely at the student experience to learn how to better support youth-led change in the District.
